About Stephen Akinsanya
At the age of 12 Stephen aspired to become a Barrister after watching a weekly television show. The boy from Thornton Heath Croydon was inspired by his parents to pursue his dreams despite the limitation placed on him by his teachers.
A distinguished criminal Barrister with 30 years of experience, Stephen is a member of the renowned 15NBS Chambers.
His passion for empowering young people stems from a profound belief that they have,
"unique gifts waiting to be unearthed".
Through his work defending young people charged with serious offenses, Stephen has witnessed firsthand the potential and promise that lies within each young person. This experience has fueled his dedication to mentoring and inspiring the next generation, particularly young Black professionals.
Stephen's commitment to law, justice, and mentorship is a shining example of what it means to be an Inspirational Role Model.
We are sincerely grateful for his presence on our first ever campaign of THIS CAN BE YOU.
